We amplified the two key attributes of the existing space for this West Village apartment: amazing views towards midtown Manhattan and the original vaulted ceiling structure. The plan reinforces sunlight and city views, by having the windows and living space as the focal point. A new kitchen, new bathroom, and new dressing room are crafted in the rear of the apartment, while a new glass and steel wall creates a sleeping nook in the center of the space.
